A Beloit Police Officer has been honored for his service to his community. Lorenzo Henderson, a School Resource Officer, was presented the award by the Beloit Breakfast Optimist Club as a result of his work with area youths as well as his passion for law enforcement and helping the younger generation of Beloit residents.
