According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, they are looking for assistance in a case where somebody stole brass cemetery markers, including a Town of Turtle Fire Department marker and a South Beloit Fire Department marker, along with many American Legion markers. Officers found them in an abandoned house while training on the west side of the city. Police are working with those agencies in an attempt to return the markers where they belong.
