According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, on Tuesday at about 7:20 a.m. a female and a small child were in a vehicle traveling in the area of Park Ave. and Bushnell St. when their vehicle was shot at and struck by gunfire. The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing an orange and black coat with a mask on his face, and it is believed he was in a white Chevrolet Malibu.
