According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, last night at about 7:45 p.m. a community service officer was driving south on Prairie Ave. near Switch Track Alley, when a passenger in a vehicle driving northbound pointed a gun at the community service officer. The police department is urging anybody with additional information on the incident to call the Rock County Dispatch Center at 608-757-2244. More information is expected to be provided later in the day.
