Beloit Police Department Investigating Hit and Run

In an update from the Beloit Police Department, they are looking for a suspect involved in a hit and run that occurred yesterday afternoon on Cranston Rd. The suspect vehicle struck a woman's car, and left huge pieces of the suspect’s car in the road. Due to the leftover debris, the suspect vehicle is identified as a black Nissan Altima. The vehicle fled the area heading towards Freeman Parkway. Police are asking that if you see a black Nissan Altima missing a large portion of the passenger side, take note of the license plate and call the police at 757-2244 and refer to case BE2155327.
