Beloit Police Chief Provides Update on March 30, 2021 Homicide

In an update from the Beloit Police Department, Police Chief Andre Sayles has announced a significant update in the investigation into the homicide of 33 year old Jordan Jefferson, who was fatally shot while outside in the 1300 block of West Grand Ave. on March 30, 2021. A suspect, 26 year old Daemon M. Hanna, who has ties to the Beloit and Madison area, was taken into custody by the Madison Police Department on Thursday for first-degree intentional homicide. Beloit police say they are working through the process of potentially making other arrests in regards to this case. This is an ongoing investigation, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
