Beloit Police Arrest Two Burlington Residents on Drug Charges

According to the Beloit Police Department, yesterday at about 11:10 p.m. officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a defective brake lamp near Porter and Henry Ave. Contact was made with the two occupants of the vehicle, with one individual lying about his identity. Subsequent searches provided drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Two Burlington residents were ultimately arrested; Joshua Silverman faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, resist/obstructing an officer, and two felony warrants, and Anne Marie Bieneman faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a firearm.
