According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, yesterday morning at about 12:45 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Broad and Pleasant streets after observing a vehicle violating several traffic laws; including swerving in the traffic lane and traveling through two red lights. The driver, 34 year old Madison resident, Whitney E. Jessup, displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for operating while intoxicated-fifth offense and operating after revocation.
