Beloit Police Announce Arrest of Madison Resident in Connection to Homicide outside Beloit Memorial

In a press release from the Beloit Police Department, they have announced the arrest of 19-year-old Madison resident Amaree A. Goodall in connection to the fatal shooting of Jion Broomfield that occurred on January 29 in the Beloit Memorial High School parking lot. Goodall was arrested without incident in Holland, Michigan on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Beloit Police Chief, Andre Sayles, noted that yesterday the department received an anonymous tip regarding Goodall's whereabouts, and Beloit Police were able to make contact with Holland Police who were able to arrest the subject.
