Beloit Man Pleads Guilty to 9th Offense OWI

Beloit resident 54 year old Randall Virgil Hoyt pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday to his 9th offense OWI. Charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing an officer were dismissed but read in. The court ordered 10 years in the Wisconsin State Prison System, and he will spend 5 years in prison with 5 years of extended supervision. Additionally, his drivers license will be revoked for 3 years, and he must use an ignition interlock device for 3 years and complete Alcohol and Other Drug assessments and treatment/counseling as necessary.
