Beloit Man Arrested In Janesville

A Beloit man has been arrested in Janesville on weapons charges. According to a press release from Janesville Police, 35-year old Ladarien Brackens was arrested around 1:15 AM Saturday after police responded to a reported armed disturbance. Brackens was reportedly threatening people with a firearm. Several officers responded to the area, but Brackens had already fled the scene. An officer with the Beloit Police Department later located Brackens and he was taken into custody without incident. Brackens has been charged with a probation violation, disorderly conduct while armed, felon in possession of a firearm, and a violation of domestic abuse injunction. He is being held at the Rock County Jail.
