According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, yesterday at about 10:30 p.m. officers were dispatched for a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Elm St. The victim reported that the suspect had pointed a firearm at the victim during the disturbance. The suspect, 21 year old Beloit resident Dandre D. Simms, was arrested for disorderly conduct-domestic violence while armed, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon-pointing, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
