Beloit Man Arrested After String Of Robberies Also Facing Charges In Janesville

Janesville Police are providing an update on the string of robberies that resulted in 27-year old Jared Russell being arrested and charged with multiple property damage and burglary charges. We reported earlier this week that Russell was arrested in connection to a burglary in Rock Township. Janesville Police said they worked with Beloit Police and after a series of incidents in Janesville between July 4 and July 12 concluded Russell was responsible. Multiple incidents in Janesville occurred, a car wash coin machine, coin laundromat, laundromat, and vending machines in Peace Park. As mentioned, Russell was also previously arrested for his role in burglaries of storage shed units in Rock Township.
