Beloit Man Arrested After Shooting in Springfield, Ill.

According to a press release from the Springfield, Illinois police department, yesterday they arrested 37 year old Christopher Hall from Beloit, WI for a homicide that took place in Springfield on October 4. On October 3, Hall was also involved in a disturbance in the same place where he displayed a firearm and threatened individuals at the scene. For this incident, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Hall. The October 4 victim, 43 year old Hason Willis, was taken to the hospital for his injuries but ultimately passed away. Hall is currently in custody at the Sangamon County Jail, pending formal charging by Sangamon County State’s Attorney Dan Wright.
