According to a press release from the City of Beloit, City Hall staff will finalize their move into permanent offices at City Hall on the second and third floor starting at noon Friday, July 1. During this time, staff in the impacted offices will close to public business, including via phone and email. Individuals can leave a message with the department they need, and messages will be returned as soon as possible on Tuesday, July 5. Impacted closures include:
o Finance and Administration (second floor)
o Clerk-Treasurer’s Division
o Accounting and Payroll
o Finance
o Assessors
o Municipal Court (second floor)
o Community Development (third floor)
o Community and Housing Services
o Planning and Building Services
o SLATS (third floor)
The first floor reception desk will be staffed at City Hall. City forms and documents, as well as a dropbox, remain available on the first floor. Beloit City Hall will fully reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6.
