Beloit City Council Approves Grant Submission to Wisconsin Department of Transportation

At the Monday night Beloit City Council meeting, the council approved the submission of a grant application to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for a 2022-2025 highway safety improvement program. The grant would go towards the Milwaukee Rd. and White Ave. intersection, which has a history of accidents and property damage. The grant would provide 90% reimbursement of the total project eligible costs, and requires a 10% match of state and/or local funds.
