Beloit City Council Approves Cost Sharing Agreement for Liberty Avenue Project

Last night at the Beloit City Council meeting, they approved a Cost Sharing Agreement between the City of Beloit and the Town of Beloit for concrete panel replacement on Liberty Avenue from West Street to 4th Street. This resolution authorizes the Interim City Manager to enter into this agreement, that will allow for the City to replace concrete panels in the Town of Beloit. The Town and the City agree to split the costs of the project by each paying for the work related to the portion of the project area that falls within their respective jurisdictions. The Town will reimburse the City for actual costs based on measured quantities and bid prices. The total cost to the Town of Beloit is estimated to be $6,653.45.
