Last night at the School District of Fort Atkinson School Board meeting, a report was given on the 2021 Summer School program. In 2021, 1,398 students participated in summer school, with over 634 students in elementary school, 487 in high school, and 227 in middle school. While 94.9% of parents surveyed on summer school say the program meets and exceeds expectations, one challenge the board is working on is continued challenges with drop off and pick up. Looking forward to summer school 2022, work is being done to research new course and camp offerings, and also work to maximize community partnerships.
