According to a post from the Wisconsin I39/90 Project, at WIS 26 and Milton Avenue, the interchange will be converted into a diverging diamond interchange. This means that early March through late June, southbound traffic will be shifted onto the northbound side. In late June to July, northbound and southbound traffic will have their own side. In late July to mid September, northbound traffic will be shifted to the southbound side. Then in mid September to mid October, all lanes will be open during peak periods and the interchange will operate as a diverging diamond interchange while off-road work is finished.
