Whitewater Woman Charged in 2019 Drug Arrest
A Whitewater woman is charged with felonies and has a court date set after a traffic stop in 2019. 32-year-old Keirstin Brady was charged with one count of felony possession of narcotics, one count of felony possession of cocaine, and one count of obstruction of an officer. As posted in the Lake Mills Leader, according to a criminal complaint, the suspect was a passenger in the car that was pulled over on County Highway A in Milford on August 21, 2019. The driver was arrested on warrants that were already outstanding. Brady gave out a different name when she was talked to by police, and claimed she did not have an ID on her. Brady admitted that powdered substances and syringes, among other items found in the car, were heroin. She will make her first court appearance on November 16th. If convicted, she faces up to 13 years and 4 months in prison, a $25,000 fine, and 10 years of revoked driving privileges.
