A Whitewater woman was released on bond after being arrested in a fraud case involving an elderly Rock County resident. Susan Salyers was arrested for 96 counts including unauthorized use of personal identifying information, fraudulent use of financial card, forgery, theft of more than $10 thousand dollars and theft from a person at risk. Salyers made her initial appearance in court Friday and she was released on a signature bond with the condition that salyers have no contact with her accuser. She knew the victims and there was no indication that she was stealing from others with 42 of the recommended charges were for forgery. Salyers will next appear in court on March 23rd.
