Whitewater Unified School District Has Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Stadium

On Monday, the Whitewater Unified School District held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new stadium turf renovation project. Members of the school board, as well as athletes, coaches, administration, and the contractors, along with members of the community participated in the ceremony. The project is expected to be completed by the fall. Whitewater High School is currently showing its home opener for football as being played at UW-Whitewater because of the construction, with the first game on the new playing surface tentatively scheduled for September 10.
