Whitewater Tourism Gives Report at Common Council Meeting

During the tourism report at Tuesday night’s Whitewater Common Council meeting, it was stated that in 2020, tourism in Whitewater lost about 60-65% of its revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they were awarded a travel grant, which helped pay for Whitewater’s episode of Discover Wisconsin. Their goals for 2021 include increasing their digital footprint, creating virtual tourism videos, building stronger relationships with local air bnb’s, and also with state and county parks and local businesses.
