The City of Whitewater has announced planned smoke testing later this month. The testing will take place July 26-30 and will be pushed back if there is inclement weather, either the start or until the testing is finished. The Northeast side of the city will be affected, with the western border at George Street and the southern border will be Clay Street and the Rice Street extension. Additional information can be found at https://www.whitewater-wi.gov/1. Any other concerns can be addressed by calling 262-473-0560 Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6 AM to 10 AM. The City says they are working to prevent as many disruptions to local businesses and homeowners.
