Whitewater Department of Public Works Announces Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

According to an update from the City of Whitewater, the Department of Public Works will collect leaf and yard waste the week of April 4-8 and the week of April 11-14. Dates may be subject to change depending on the weather. Yard waste is defined as leaves, grass clippings, and yard and garden debris. The waste must be bagged in a 30 gallon or less biodegradable, clear or transparent bag. Residents should place bagged ward waste on the curb no earlier than Saturday, April 2 or Saturday, April 9. Residents requesting brush collection should call 473-0560 to make an appointment for pick up on Tuesdays.
