Whitewater Common Council Extends COVID Emergency, Face Coverings
Earlier this week, the Whitewater Common Council voted to extend its citywide mask ordinance and COVID-19 emergency. The ordinance, which was set to expire December 31st, has been extended to March 31st and requires face covering in all interior public and business spaces. According to the Whitewater Banner, there was very little debate on extending the ordinance. A decision was also made to continue holding meetings virtual. The emergency declaration can be rescinded at any time.
