Walworth Public Works Asking For Volunteers To Help Remove Invasive Species

Walworth County Public works is looking for help to remove an invasive plant species. In an article posted in the Whitewater Banner, the county says on April 30 from 9 AM to Noon, volunteers are being asked to assist the county and the Lake Geneva Conservancy with the removal of buckthorn and other invasive species. The project is taking place at White River County Park in Lake Geneva. Another event is being held on May 8 at Natureland Park in Whitewater.
