Walworth County Employee Charged
A member of the Walworth County DHHS has been charged. The LGRN reports that 38-year Charla Cutshall of Whitewater, is being charged with unauthorized use of an entity’s identifying information or documents, two counts of theft by acquisition of a credit card and misconduct/office-act/excess authority. A DHHS employee told police that another employee had used their login credentials to take out a temporary food card, or vault card, for a customer back on December 3. Only certain employees have access to these emergency cards. The employee stated their login was used without their permission, and that they had been working remotely. Cutshall admitted to police that she noticed the vault card was not being used, so she logged in to take the card out herself. She also noted this was not the first time she had done this.
