According to the Village of Johnson Creek Newsletter, the Southeast Neighborhood Utility Reconstruction Project is 60 days ahead of schedule. At the beginning of August, crews installed the first lift of asphalt, which was initially scheduled for the beginning of October. Currently, crews still need to plant street trees, which will happen later in the fall. The final layer of asphalt is scheduled to be paved next spring or summer. To read the full newsletter, visit
