As new vaccine clinics prepare to open around the state, the initial location in Rock County is being hailed as a success. The clinic, located at BTC in Janesville, is scheduling more than 400 daily appointments from Tuesday through Saturday. Nearly 24,000 first doses have been administered in Rock County, with another 11,050 second doses, according to the BDN. Almost 15% of the county’s population has been vaccinated at least once. The 4 other clinic locations will be in Racine, La Crosse and Marathon counties, as well as a split between Douglas and Barron counties.
