According to the City of Janesville, a portion of Riverside Park will be closed to through traffic while a contactor will be completing pavement rehabilitation projects in the northern area of the park. The closure will begin on Monday, September 13 and will last for about 10 days. The closure within the park applies to the boat launch, the north pavilion area, shuffleboard, horseshoe, tennis and pickleball courts, the baseball diamond, splash pad, zipline, north playground area, concession stand, scenic overlooks, picnic areas, and part of the Ice Age Trail. The pavilion, playground, artesian well, and restrooms located in the southern area of the park will remain open.
