Two Suspects in Jail After Monday Homicide in Beloit

In a post from the City of Beloit Police Department, they have announced the arrests of two suspects who were involved in the homicide of a 25 year old Beloit man on Monday. Two individuals were arrested this morning just before 3 a.m. after turning themselves in to the Rock County Jail. 18 year old Elontae Phiffer and 19 year old Damon E. Allen, both from Beloit, have been charged with first degree intentional homicide as party to a crime. The third suspect, 19 year old Journee R. Weathers from Beloit has a warrant for a charge of first degree intentional homicide, as witnesses said he was the one who shot the gun. The shooting is believed to be a result of a dispute regarding payment for a vehicle.
