Two Local Libraries Receive Monetary Grant

The libraries in Delavan and Darien have announced that they have received a rural initiative grant. According to a Tuesday afternoon Facebook post, The American Library Association’s initiative to focus on rural communities will give a $3,000 grant to the Aram and Darien Public Library, which will aid the two facilities in building a seed library, community sessions on food insecurity, and building all ages summer programs.
