According to a press release from Representative Amy Loudenbeck, last week two bills authorized by Loudenbeck were signed into law by Governor Tony Evers. Senate Bill 309, which was co-authored with Senator Dale Kooyenga, became 2021 Wisconsin Act 121. Act 121 is a technical fix that provides clarity and uniformity to the definitions of “Free and Charitable Clinics” and “Telehealth” in Wisconsin Statutes. Senate Bill 491, which was co-authored with Senator Kathy Bernier, became 2021 Wisconsin Act 132. Act 132 changes the payment structure for subsidized guardianship placements by having the state pay for the program instead of the individual counties.
