Two Arrested After Beloit House Fire

Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire in Beloit overnight. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Hemlock Street around 2:45 this morning. The residents were able to evacuate the structure safely. Smoke and flames were visible upon the firefighters arrival. The building is considered a total loss. The Beloit Police Department says that two individuals have been arrested, a 35-year old woman was arrested on arson charges, and a 35-year old man was arrested on domestic battery charges.
