Truck Hits Tree Near WSLD Studios, Minor Injuries Reported

One person was injured after hitting a downed tree near our studios this morning. According to a statement from Whitewater Fire, a tree fell overnight west of Highway 89 on Lake Lorraine Road. A pickup truck hit the downed tree around 4:40 AM and authorities said the driver was not transported to the hospital and suffered minor injuries. Fire officials were only on scene for around 15-20 minutes.
