Town of Delavan Ambulance Referendum

The Town of Delavan held a town hall last night in regards to a public safety referendum on the April 6 election ballot. The referendum is asking for additional resources to hire paramedics and improve both response time and patient care, through an increase in the levy. The department shared that they responded to 298 more calls for paramedic service in 2020 than they did in 2010, when they responded to 321 calls vs 619 last year. At the same time, there were 12 less paramedics in 2020. Images of the brochure regarding the proposed referendum are available on the Town of Delavan Fire-Rescue Facebook page.
