Town of Beloit Hires New Board Chair
The Beloit Town Board has approved a new chairperson. The Beloit Daily News reports that supervisor Skip Rath was unanimously elected as the new Town Chair Board and will serve in the role until April, when the term of previous Town Chair Board Tammy Maegli is up. Maegli recently resigned from the role on December 28th due to personal health reasons. Former supervisor Dan Schreiber will take Rath’s seat for the same duration of time. Rath had been serving as pro-tem board chair and was leading meetings when Maegli couldn’t attend. The appointment of Rath is expected to allow the Board to continue to operate smoothly.
