According to an update from the Green County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday at about 12:20 p.m. deputies responded to the area of W3000 State Highway 11 in the Town of Jefferson for a report of a three vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that a 17 year old driver was travelling east on State Highway 11 when they attempted to brake and lost control of the vehicle. The juvenile then entered the westbound lane and was struck by a vehicle operated by 28 year old Gavin G. Garrett from Oregon. The juvenile’s vehicle was then struck by another westbound vehicle being operated by 68 year old David P. Kedley from Potosi. All drivers reported wearing their seatbelts and there were no injuries. The juvenile’s vehicle was towed from the scene and all others were driven from the scene. There was no airbag deployment in any vehicle. The juvenile was issued a citation for operating left of center.
