According to a press release from the Janesville Police Department, arrests have been made in an investigation related to the illegal possession of firearms. Police say a search warrant was executed at a residence on Academy St, and Janesville and Beloit SWAT teams were deployed for the safety of the community. Police say the residents cooperated with them and exited the home. The investigation located 3 handguns, ammo, and 170 grams of packaged THC as well as drug paraphernalia. Alfonso Randall, Takisha Clemons and Orion Mitchell were placed into custody, with Randall facing numerous firearm and drug charges, while Mitchell faces drug charges and Clemons faces drug and child neglect charges. Randall also faces obstructing an officer charge. Randall and Mitchell are being held at the Rock County Jail, while Clemons was released but issued a court date.
