Suspect in Lake Geneva Shots Fired Incident Found in Texas

The suspect in connection with a shots fired incident at a Lake Geneva apartment complex has been taken in custody. Jose Reyes Alvarado was arrested in Texas this past weekend and has not been charged in the May incident. Police alleged that Alvarado rang a resident’s doorbell multiple times and when someone opened the door the suspect fired several shots into the apartment, no injuries were reported. Alvarado was stopped in Texas on a traffic issue on June 14th and police confirmed he was wanted in Lake Geneva for questioning about the shots fired incident, he gave police in Texas a false identification before he was arrested. He is currently being held in Texas and is awaiting extradition back to Wisconsin.
