Roof Collapse In Palmyra

Palmyra officials responded to a building collapse on Saturday. According to a Facebook post from the department, around 6:45 AM on Saturday, officials responded to a building collapse at an egg farm on Highway 59. A 60,000 square foot building was discovered to have partially collapsed There were no individuals trapped inside, and any injuries were treated on the scene. Palmyra officials say the incident was caused by a gas leak, and the building was secured by WE Energies. The JCSO and Western Lakes Fire Department’s drone assisted in the investigation.
