In a press release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, they are providing public notice of the Rock River’s current slow-no-wake status. The release stated that the water level for the Rock River is 6.57 feet, and county ordinances require a slow-no-wake speed restriction to be placed on Rock River when water levels exceed 6.5 feet in Afton. Deputies will begin placing slow-no-wake signs along the Rock River at all public access points between the Indianford Dam and the W B R Townline Road Bridge.
