Rock County To Be First Community COVID-19 Vaccination Site

The first community vaccination site in the state of Wisconsin will open next week in Rock County. According to Channel 3000, the DHS, along with Governor Evers and a healthcare firm, are partnering to form sites around the state. The Rock site will open on February 16. It will be able to vaccinate 250 people per day, but that number could rise when vaccinations increase. The ultimate goal is to provide 1,000 shots per day. No details on a specific site were provided. The National Guard and Wisconsin Emergency Management will assist at the vaccination sites.
