Rock County Teachers Ahead Of The Vaccine Game
Rock County teachers are way ahead of the game after teachers statewide were approved for the COVID-19 vaccine. WKOW reports that hundreds of teachers have already been vaccinated in Rock County, after vaccinations began in January. Members of the Janesville and the Milton school districts have already received their second dose. Mercyhealth has said it will now wait until March 1 to vaccinate anyone else. The head start given in the county has no plans of alteration. Once the remaining school districts get vaccinated, the priority will be those on the list provided by the state. Child care workers, those on medicaid, grocery workers, bus drivers, and 911 dispatchers are among the subset of people permitted to receive the vaccine.
