The Rock County Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting incident that took place early Saturday morning in Janesville according to a news release. Sheriff’s deputies along with Town of Beloit EMS were dispatched to the Blu Astor on Hwy 51 on a shots fired complaint, while on route deputies were advised that one of the subjects had a gunshot wound to the hand. When deputies arrived they found the subject who had the gunshot wound and gave aid until EMs arrived. Deputies secured the scene and began investigation during which local area hospitals informed police of three other subjects with gunshot wounds which were found to be related to the case. Out of the four gunshot victims two were treated and released while two remain at a hospital in Madison for more treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
