Rock County Medical Examiner Releases Identity of Individual who Died After February 2 Vehicle Crash

In a press release from the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office, they have released the name of an individual who passed away as a result of a motor vehicle crash that occurred on February 2 at about 2:50 p.m. in the 2200 block of W. Creedy Rd. in the Town of Beloit. He was identified as 87 year old Beloit resident John V. Tharp. Tharp passed away on February 7 at a local hospital. Preliminary testing results show he died from injuries sustained in the crash, and additional testing is underway at this time.
