Rock County Community Clinic Opened On Tuesday

The state’s first community clinic at Blackhawk Technical College opened on Tuesday. The location, chosen to serve underserved populations in Rock, Walworth and Green counties, opened with a soft launch to target this demographic and ensure the smoothness of operations. The soft launch was eligible to individuals 65 or older, as well as frontline health care personnel, residents and staff of nursing homes and long term care facilities, emergency workers and correctional staff. The tentative date that the public will be able to have open registration is February 22. Anyone who fits the current eligibility requirements and works, lives or studies in Wisconsin would be able to use the clinic. There was a waiting list of about 500 people at the facility.
