ReadyWisconsin Preparing Residents for Deep Freeze

ReadyWisconsin is offering safety tips to prepare for the dangerously cold weather conditions this weekend. In a media release, it is revealed that 83 people died in Wisconsin last year from cold weather. Ways to prepare yourself includes limiting your time outdoors, knowing the signs of hypothermia or frostbite, checking the supplies in your home and vehicle emergency kits, testing the detectors in your home, and checking the furnace, among others.
