Racine County Deputies Make Bizarre Arrest In Walworth County

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office recently made an arrest for fraud in Walworth County. The suspect, named Michael Myers, was under investigation for a series of fraud crimes across Southeastern Wisconsin. While serving the warrant, Myers was located in the attic of a home and declined to surrender himself. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office and City of Elkhorn Police Department were called in to assist, and after 90 minutes Myers was taken into custody. The apartment was evacuated during the incident. Myers attempted to break through the wall in the attic and enter a neighbor’s apartment, but was ultimately captured. He was transported to the Racine County Jail and is facing 2 counts of Unauthorized Use of an Individual’s Personal Information, 1 count of Theft by Fraud, and 3 counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
